What does booking direct mean?
You deal with the host yourself. On Tomove you find a holiday home, yacht charter, experience or service, message the host or provider, agree the details and pay them directly. Tomove doesn’t add a guest service fee, so the price you see is the price the host set.
Do guests pay a booking fee on Tomove?
No. Tomove charges guests no service fee. You pay the host’s price plus any extras the host lists in their listing. Hosts can also choose to offer discounts.
Is it cheaper to book direct than through a big booking platform?
Often, but not always. The big platforms typically take 12–15% or more of each booking, and many add a guest service fee too. Tomove adds neither to guests, so hosts can keep their prices lower. Hosts set their own prices on every site, though, so compare the full total before you book.
How do I pay, and is it safe?
Hosts who take payments must verify their identity first, either through Stripe or through Tomove’s enhanced ID check on a Membership. Most payments go to the host’s own Stripe account. Every guest and host also confirms their email, mobile number and profile details.
Tomove never stores copies of your ID documents or selfies. How verification works
Does it cost anything to list on Tomove?
No. Every listing type is free to list. Long-term rentals, services and crew jobs have no fees at all.
To take payments for stays, charters and experiences, hosts choose Pay as you go (5% per confirmed booking, paid through Stripe) or a Membership with no booking fees. Stripe’s standard processing fee applies to card payments, as it would on any direct payment.

Most booking sites sit between you and the host and take a share of every booking. Tomove connects you directly. Guests and hosts talk to each other, hosts set their own prices and terms, and Tomove adds no guest service fee.
